I should pick up Christ and Amber from Lovina and take them on tour before drop them of at the airport. I start driving early in the morning from my house in Ubud. We start around 9 M from Ubud heading to Batur Volcano area.
Christ and Amber missed their breakfast in the hotel so we need to find a place to have late breakfast or early lunch. We went to a floating restaurant by the lake. It was nice breakfast with a very beautiful surrounding. The weather was perfect. The sky was blue above the Mount Batur and reflected nicely by the calm water of the lake. We depart from Kuta earlier to see temple ceremony in Sakenan , located in Serangan turtle island. When we arrived, there were already load of people coming. It was Kuningan Day, one of Balinese Hindu celebration. I still made a tour with Remi and Sri Bayu. I pick them up at their hotel in Kuta after I finish my Kuningan prayer at home. I did this tour with a young couple from Singapore, Remi and Sri Bayu.
We arrived a bit earlier in Batubulan to see Barong dance performance. It gave us chance to see the performers doing their make up and dressing up in the back stages. Still searching tour with Chankerk.

Today, we are going east Bali. Before heading East we visit Tegenungan waterfall located just south east of Ubud. In the East we visit Kusamba fishing beach, Padangbay area, hidden corner of Candidasa, Bugbug beach, Taman Ujung Palace, and Tirtagangga water Palace.

On the way back we passing Sibetan Salak plantation, Iseh rice terrace and Sideman Valley.

A day tour with Chankerk, Singaporean based painter, searching for good locations for painting outdoor class.

We start early in the morning by hiking the Campuhan ridge, a small hill west of Ubud that located between two rivers. The weather was fantastic for pictures. The green of the long grass was lighted well and the sky was saturated blue. We start the walk from the north side and end the walk at the shady and cool campuhan river.
