Dreamland Turning into New Kuta

We were a little pessimistic that we would have a good snorkeling day when we started our driving from Sanur. It was cloudy and a bit showering rain. The rain still falls until we reached Bat Cave temple where we made 20 minutes stop to see this newly renovated temple. (more…)

Mount Batur Trekking

We arrived at trekking starting point at the bottom of Mount Batur around 4PM. I settled the payment of the local guide IDR 200,000. We have to use the local trekking guide since few years ago. I cannot take my client just by my self anymore but must use one guide from Batur trekking guide association. That day our guide was a young man with OK English. (more…)

There were already many cars and even few buses when we arrive at the parking area of the temple. I was not expecting it but suddenly I remember, that day was weekend and just one day before full moon. A good timing to do tirta yatra, spiritual journey, by many Balinese people these days. (more…)
