Bali Tour Guide

Still searching tour with Chankerk.

Today, we are going east Bali. Before heading East we visit Tegenungan waterfall located just south east of Ubud. In the East we visit Kusamba fishing beach, Padangbay area, hidden corner of Candidasa, Bugbug beach, Taman Ujung Palace, and Tirtagangga water Palace.

On the way back we passing Sibetan Salak plantation, Iseh rice terrace and Sideman Valley.

A day tour with Chankerk, Singaporean based painter, searching for good locations for painting outdoor class.

We start early in the morning by hiking the Campuhan ridge, a small hill west of Ubud that located between two rivers. The weather was fantastic for pictures. The green of the long grass was lighted well and the sky was saturated blue. We start the walk from the north side and end the walk at the shady and cool campuhan river.

Galungan Day is one of many ceremonies that celebrated in Bali. Galungan can be considered as the merriest celebration because there many decorations and food involved in it. Ceremonies and praying are held in family’s temples, village temples as well as other bigger temples. (more…)

The name of ‘Dreamland’ was given by the surfer to a beach in Bukit Pecatu areas, south of Bali. It is a small nice beach by the cliff. It has nice white sand and challenging wave for surfer. At one time some years ago was an escaping beach, a dream land. (more…)

We were a little pessimistic that we would have a good snorkeling day when we started our driving from Sanur. It was cloudy and a bit showering rain. The rain still falls until we reached Bat Cave temple where we made 20 minutes stop to see this newly renovated temple. (more…)
