Ever wondered what daily life is really like in Bali? We invite you to spend a day with our family in our traditional family compound. Not as a tourist, but as part of our family.
What You Will Experience
You will be welcomed into our traditional Balinese home and learn about our unique house layout, architecture, and philosophy. You will dress in beautiful Balinese temple attire, just like we do. Then our mothers will sit with you to teach you how to make Canang Sari, our daily offering, and share the beautiful meaning behind it.
After that, we will bring the offerings you made to a sacred water spring temple for a Melukat – a traditional water cleansing and purification ritual.
It’s authentic, private, peaceful, and a truly local experience you won’t find in guidebooks.

Itinerary – 9 AM to 4 PM
- 9:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Ubud
- 9:20 AM – 12:00 PM: Family compound visit and Canang making class
- 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Purification ceremony at the holy water spring temple
- 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant lunch is personal expense
- 4:00 PM: Return to your hotel in Ubud
Good to know:
Pick-up and drop-off is included from the Ubud area.
For pick-up outside Ubud, just let us know and we can arrange it with additional fee.
Please bring a towel, change of clothes, and your camera.
